Q&A: Files upload in prestashop 1.7 - problem with upload process

Hi,

I have installed plugin to upload pdf, avi, mpg files called customer files upload module (v2.3.4) in prestashop 1.7, but in the product does not let me upload any files, I get the form but I do not have the option to upload anything. It does not work also in cart, order history and other parts of shop. What i can do to solve the problem?

hello!

i decided to extrude library that is dedicated for 1.7.x,

previous mixed version - as you already noticed - generates issues

What to do now? step 1: download new version

- please log in to your customer account https://mypresta.eu/my-account/orders/

- go to "my orders" section

- you will see there now two libraries of orderfiles module (orderfiles.zip and orderfiles17.zip)

- download version dedicated for 1.7.x

What to do now? step 2: upload new version to your shop

- upload new version to your shop

- go to module configuration page to section "updates"

- click "check now" and you will see notification if you've got up to dated version, or not (if not - please let me know)

What to do now? step 3: clear browser cache

- clear browser cache

- version dedicated for 1.7.x has new .js files, there is a chance that your browser remembers old js files. This can cause some issues

it should be fine now, module will work properly in each part of the shop:

- admin uploads (customers > files upload, order detail page upload section)

- customer uploads (product, cart, order history, customer account)
