Q&A: how to block access to product's combination?

access to products module for prestashop

Can this module be used product's combinations? I would like restrict only a few combinations.

Hello

no, this allows to block access to product, not for product combinations.

if you want to block possibility to order of selected combinations i think that module maximum product quantity will meet your expectactions. 

With this module you can defnie maximum quantity that is allowed to order, it can be used to define max quantities both for product, and for product's combinations

so for example, with module you can set restrictions like:
- allow to order 0 quantity of RED T-SHIRT S for group: CUSTOMERS

- allow to order 10 quantity of RED T-SHIRT S for group: WHOLESALERS

- allow to order unlimited quantity of BLUE T-SHIRT S for group: CUSTOMERS

- allow to order 5 quantity of BLUE T-SHIRT M for group: WHOLESALERS

- etc.

FACTS:

1. each product can have own unique settings for customer groups.
2. each combination can have own unique settings for customer grups
3. product and it's combinations can be purchased in a standard way
4. if someone will try to order more than allowed - module will spawn notification that it is not possible.
